Welcome to groundwerk.org, and thank you for following! I am currently on my way to Germany to visit family for a week before I make my way to Tarifa, Spain to begin my walk. I hope to start the walk on April 4th. Hope you find the walk and blog interesting and motivating.

In addition to the blog, I have started a new Instagram account to post some updates. I will also be starting a new album in my Flickr account for this trip, and will use that as a repository for all photos. Every 2-3 weeks (or whenever I feel like it), I plan to post short video summaries to YouTube, and will add a link to that channel once I finish my first video.

Feel free to contact me using the contact form on the “About Me” page, or you can ask questions via the page comments. I will be screening the page comments before posting them, so don’t be concerned if you do not see your comments immediately. I do intend to have internet access at most times during my walk, but there will be times when I don’t have mobile coverage, am busy walking, or am unable to check my accounts. Please be patient if I do not post your comments or answer your questions right away.
